They live in warm places. Some kind of them live in forests,
some live in deserts. More than fifty kinds of them live in the

They sleep during the day and hunt at night. They eat insects,
frogs, lizards, bats, mice and small snakes. They even eat other
tarantulas. They wait for hours to catch a prey. When an animal comes closer to them, they jump
on it and leave their poison. The animal dies in a very short time and tarantulas eat it.
