Jupiter
The largest planet in our solar system is Jupiter. It is nearly as big as a star. In the
atmosphere of Jupiter, like the Sun, there is hdyrogen and helium gases. There are thick red,
yellow and white clouds around it, so it looks like it has stripes. NASA sent a spacecraft
to Jupiter in 1996 named Galileo. Galileo took photos of Jupiter. Those photos showed that
Jupiter has four moons. Their names are Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto. These moons
are also called Galilean satellites because Galileo Galilei discovered them in 1610.
