Rainforests are extremely important for all living things. They provide oxygen and clean air
for people and animals. They are habitats of thousands of species. They keep our planet healthy.
They help to stabilize the Earth's climate. They help to reduce the greenhouse effect. They provide
us with many valuable medicinal plants.
Unfortunately, people destroy these forests. This destruction causes terrible results. Many
animals die and some may become extinct. Most of them lose their natural habitats. It becomes
hard for them to find food and shelter. In addition, the increase of carbon dioxide causes
climate change, and pollution increases. Deforestation has no positive effects.
Everybody should be sensitive about protecting forests. We all want to live in a good world
and we all desire to leave a better world to next generations.
